As part of the total distribution, Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation donated $165,000 to Feeding America ® to support child hunger programs. The grants support the local organizations’ efforts to combat food insecurity and provide nutritional education to their communities and represent an 83% increase in the number of grants issued in the previous grant cycle in the fall.
